Nature’s Harmony® Treemenda™ is a line of quality, naturally sourced Australian tea tree oil products manufactured in Canada. Tea Tree Oil is the essential oil steam-distilled from the Australian plant Melaleuca alternifolia. This species, one of 300 species of the laurel family, is native to New South Wales.
The Australian Aboriginals discovered that the essential oil from the leaves of the tea tree provided a natural cure for a wide variety of ailments. Colourless or pale yellow, tea tree oil is a complex essential oil with 48 natural compounds. Levels of 14 components are stipulated in the International Standard for Oil of Melaleuca, Terpinen-4-ol (ISO 4730). The Nature’s Harmony® Treemenda™ line has at least 40% terpinen-4-ol—above the Australian standard of 30%.
